Platform - Reactions
We are extending the “Likes” functionality in the activity feed to include reactions, allowing users to select emojis such as Love, Haha, Wow, Sad, Angry, etc
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we may have to alter this timeline, however, we are going to launch as much as we can as County Business Clubs can help our local businesses throughout this difficult time. Please bear with us.

We are adding support for on screen notifications, allowing notifications from the Platform to be overlaid within the website as slide in “glimpse” notifications that appear on screen and can be dismissed.
We are desktop push notifications, allowing notifications from the Platform to be displayed in the browser even when the website is not loaded on screen.
We want our Messenger to update in real time, similar to iMessage and WhatsApp. This will make our messenger much more responsive, and will allow us to extend it later on with a live chat box on the site that is in sync with the messenger.
There will be a videos system in the Media component, which will support uploading of raw video files into activity feeds, groups, messages, forum replies, and documents. The uploaded video files will be compressed and then viewable as playable videos.
We are adding registration options for whitelisting specific emails domains, and for automatically rejecting other email domains from signing up. This is useful for requiring business emails in a company intranet, and for battling spam signups from certain email domains.
An advanced member access control system. We will be able to configure which social interactions members are able to access based on:
This provides better, more focused solutions for advertisers.
Adding #hashtags in the activity feed, allowing people to create their own hashtags and use them in posts to create trending activity.
Improved ability on existing mechanism to publish polls into activity feeds, for other members to vote on and then view the results.
We will allow users to create activity posts, which are set to be published at a specific date in the future instead of immediately.
A user specific, event-driven caching layer is being created already being used in the app. This provides substantial performance improvements. This technology is planned for the Platform to improve performance on the web.
A native solution for Social Login, will allow members to login and register to their website via Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Sign in with Apple. The social login will sync in the profile photo and profile fields from outside networks as allowed by each network.
